Daniel Peake

Founder, Chief Executive Officer

Daniel Peake is the Founder and CEO of Concergix, a leader in hospice and palliative care solutions. With a robust background in the hospice Durable Medical Equipment (DME) sector, Daniel brings over a decade of expertise and dedication to his role, driving innovation and excellence in patient care.Daniel’s journey began in the hospice DME industry in 2008, where he quickly advanced from an entry-level position to Vice President of Business Development and Operations. From 2017 to 2019, Daniel broadened his expertise by working at a healthcare compliance firm in Alexandria, Virginia, led by former DHHS Inspector General Richard Kusserow. There, Daniel earned his certification in healthcare compliance and gained invaluable experience in operational and compliance solutions, auditing, and monitoring programs.Rejoining the hospice DME space in 2019, Daniel continued to lead with a focus on advancing patient care and operational efficiency. During this time, he played a pivotal role in scaling the company and expanding its geographic footprint into Georgia, Alabama, and Virginia. After a brief stint in Digital Health focused on acute-care settings, Daniel quickly realized that his heart was in the hospice and palliative care sector. In 2023, Daniel founded Concergix with a mission to challenge the status quo of vendor services provided to serious illness and end of life care organizations. Under his stewardship, Concergix has been at the forefront of developing innovative solutions, including a hybrid DME/Medication Partner approach.Daniel’s commitment to improving the quality of care for patients is reflected in Concergix’s mission to deliver exceptional service and support to hospice and palliative care organizations. His leadership and strategic vision are instrumental in driving the company’s growth and ensuring it remains a trusted partner in the industry.

Beeson Partlow

Founder, Chief Development Officer

Beeson serves as the Chief Development Officer at Concergix, and is a founding member of Concergix MP, where he leads the strategic direction and execution of the company’s growth initiatives. With over 11 years of experience in the insurance and technology industries Beeson has built a strong track record of forging and maintaining long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders. His ability to identify and capitalize on new opportunities has been instrumental in driving Concergix’s growth and success.

Beeson’s passion for working in the advanced illness sector is deeply rooted in a personal experience, which continues to inspire his dedication to ensuring Concergix provides solutions that enable partner organizations to focus on delivering quality, patient-centered care.

This personal connection fuels Beeson’s commitment to the values and mission of Concergix, helping to shape an organization that is both forward-thinking and mission-driven. Beeson holds two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Alabama, with a focus on operations management and consumer sciences.

Dr. Donald F D’Aquila (PharmD, MBA, BCGP, RRT)

Chief Clinical Officer

Dr. D’Aquila, often referred to as Dr. D, is a distinguished member of the executive team at Concergix, where he currently serves as the Chief Clinical Officer. His leadership role combines strategic responsibility with hands-on clinical practice, particularly as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in pain management, hospice, and palliative medicine. Dr. D’s extensive experience in clinical settings enhances his executive responsibilities, ensuring that patient care remains at the forefront of organizational goals.

Dr. D’s previous experience includes helping build and manage pain and palliative programs within the University of Maryland Medical System.  One of his proudest achievements is being a founding member and serving as Chair of Pain Stewardship, where he, along with an interdisciplinary team, oversaw pain management initiatives for over 4,600 affiliated providers across 150 locations and 11 hospitals. His expertise in clinical practice enables him to assist organizational teams in achieving optimal value-based outcomes, further solidifying his reputation in the healthcare community.

As a consultant for hospice organizations, Dr. D’Aquila is passionate about improving access to end-of-life care. He emphasizes humanistic perspectives while navigating the ethical considerations essential for achieving patient-centered goals in this sensitive area of medicine.

Educationally, Dr. D holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Respiratory Therapy from Salisbury University, a Master’s in Business Administration from Western Governors University, and a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. He further distinguished himself by obtaining a graduate certificate in executive management from the Yale School of Management. Additionally, Dr. D is board-certified in Geriatrics, underscoring his commitment to continued learning and professional development.

Dr. D’s passion for research led him to a previous appointment at the Richard A. Henson Research Institute, where he focused on pharmacotherapy perspectives in clinical trials and the interdisciplinary aspects of palliative care science, ultimately improving care for individuals with serious illnesses.

His business interests are centered around implementing clinical services and pharmacy benefit administration strategies that offer hospice and palliative care organizations access to innovative solutions. Dr. D aims to open pathways to optimal value-based care that places patients at the center of all endeavors.

With a strong belief in collaboration and community engagement, Dr. D values working with mission-focused teams to foster a robust value environment for hospice and palliative medicine organizations. By strengthening community relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders, he continues to advocate for the highest standards of patient care and support in the healthcare landscape.

David Clapp

Chief Operating Officer

David Clapp brings a unique blend of compassion and innovation to his role as Chief Operating Officer at Concergix Resource Group. With a career spanning over two decades, David has dedicated himself to enhancing end-of-life care through both direct patient involvement and executive leadership.

David’s journey began at the University of Pittsburgh, where he founded Golden Bean Coffee, a national distributor of fresh roasted coffee. After successfully leading the company for eight years, he sold it to a larger specialty coffee company and transitioned to a new chapter in his life. His personal experience caring for his grandmother with end-stage dementia sparked a profound interest in Hospice care. This led him to nursing school, where he pursued his passion for providing compassionate care.

Upon graduating, David began his career at Holy Spirit Hospital, where he cared for terminally ill patients. He then advanced to roles as a Hospice Nurse and Administrator, gaining a deep understanding of Hospice operations and patient needs. His expertise grew as he took on leadership positions at National HME, where he contributed to the expansion of the Northeastern division, and later at Delta Care Rx, where he oversaw business development and played a crucial role in the company’s remarkable growth.

David’s extensive experience in the Hospice field also includes a successful stint in consulting, where he helped a nationwide DME company significantly reduce attrition rates and implement effective policies. His alignment with the mission-driven focus of Concergix Resource Group led him to his current role as COO, where he continues to drive innovative solutions and improve quality care for end-of-life patients.

David lives in Central Pennsylvania with his wife, two sons, and French bulldog. He attributes his success to his faith, the impactful experiences with Hospice services, and guidance from the Score mentoring program.

Justin Peake

Chief Technical Officer

Justin Peake is an interdisciplinary researcher, technologist, and educator with over 20 years of experience focusing on human-centered design in the worlds of entertainment, education, health, and wellness. His work draws heavily on a commitment to curiosity and understanding when approaching systemic problems, human need, accessibility, and equity. He holds a master’s degree from New York University’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) where he was awarded a departmental fellowship for his research in community dynamics in the arts. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Alabama in Philosophy with a focus on cognitive science and human experience. He has taught courses at the graduate and undergraduate level and has been featured as a guest speaker at New York University, Columbia University, Tulane University, and the University of Alabama, as well as facilitating public and private workshops for all ages nationally and internationally.
